La Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin
The guardians of the temple
The Confrérie
des Chevaliers du Tastevin, having created the Saint-Vincent Tournante
in 1938, remains morally responsible for the Festival and preserving
the spirit of its origins.
The
Confrérie des Chavaliers du Tastevin also vets the candidatures of
villages hoping to host the Saint-Vincent Tournante.
With the aim of preserving the original ethos, and avoiding past excesses, a charter was drawn up several years ago, listing the rights and responsibilities incumbent on the host villages.

The Association Saint-Vincent de Bourgogne
The mutual aid associations (the St Vincent associations) – which
arrive annually from all over Burgundy to take part in the procession
of the Saint-Vincent Tournante – are united under the collective
umbrella of the association Saint-Vincent de Bourgogne, a body created
by the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin and whose president is the
Confrérie’s Grand Master.
